About Bridges to Sight:
To Bridges to Sight is a fixed-site outreach vision screening clinic operated as part of the OHSU Casey Eye Institute’s Community Outreach Program in partnership with Transition Projects, Inc. (TPI), and in collaboration with the OHSU Bridges Collaborative Care Clinic
To provide free, accessible vision screening services for individuals experiencing barriers to eye care while supporting health, independence, and quality of life. The clinic also provides medical student volunteers with hands-on service-learning experience in community-based care, health equity, patient navigation, and interprofessional collaboration.
Bridges to Sight: Vision Screening Clinic
Services are completely FREE - no ID or insurance necessary to receive care
Comprehensive vision and eye health screening, including distance/near vision, dilated eye exams, eye pressure/glaucoma screening, and diabetic eye exams
Refraction and glasses prescriptions
Free reading glasses, single-vision distance glasses, and bifocals
Medical guidance and help connecting to follow-up care, with support from TPI staff
Already have a current, non-expired prescription?
Bring it with you to receive a free pair of single-vision distance glasses or bifocals.
