Clinical Roles
Medical Preceptor (MD, DO, PA, NP): Guides medical student activities, evaluates patients, writes orders, provides care, and signs off on Rx and referrals.
Due to liability insurance, Bridges can currently only accept OHSU faculty as preceptors.
Nursing Preceptor (RN, NP): Guides nursing student activities, assesses patients, and provides care as ordered.
Medical/PA Student: Under the supervision of a medical preceptor, the student evaluates patients, writes orders, and provides care.
Nursing Student: Under the supervision of a nursing preceptor, the student assesses patients and provides care as ordered.
Clinic Administrator/Sign-In: Supports clinic operations, and assists with patient check-in and check-out.
Onboarding
If you are interested in volunteering at the Bud Clark Wound Clinic, you must first complete/do the following (training can be completed at any time):
1. Complete the general BCCC volunteer training (5 online modules).

2. Complete the corresponding general BCCC volunteer training quizzes (5).
Motivational Interviewing Quiz
3. Complete the Bud Clark Wound Clinic-specific training (1 online module).

4. Complete the corresponding Bud Clark training quiz (1).
5. Email a copy of your COVID-19 vaccine card to clarkwoundclinic@gmail.com.
In order to complete the training, please use 1 above to access the folder "Virtual New Volunteer Training". Once in the folder, start by clicking on the "New Volunteer Training Introduction *START HERE*" folder then click the document "START HERE Overview: Virtual New Volunteer Training". This document will explain how to complete the training. NOTE: This folder does not include the Bud Clark training module, see the link in 3 above.
